Greetings,
We tomorrow is the first! Then in a couple of days I will be 59! Not sure how old the country will be, but it sure needs prayer just like I do J. While I reflect on my life since coming out of the world almost 25 years ago, I realize that how wonderful the FATHER AND SON has been to me. I mean he gave me new life, forgave me of past sins ( boy was I a sinner!!) he allowed me to bring with me out of the world my wife, we have children and grandchildren (something the devil would like to take away as he see's where my real riches lie, or so he thinks), we have been allowed to serve HIM with the Mission Church, radio, and many other means as really my life is devoted into HIS service not a 9 to 5 job but a job that has no end….yes it is so tough as we are not really in the main stream so to speak.
But if you read your Bibles you will see a Messiah centered life is not supposed to be well easy…
Matthew 5:1
3Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. 5Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. 6Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. 7Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. 8Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. 9Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. 10Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
We love all Christians but we are told to speak truth and try to wake folks up not make them mad at us…so donations are sometimes, many times, hurt because people disagree with what is said on radio….but to so many we are just a cult…..
We serve the poorest of the poor so they cannot help us, what we do has always came from our mail out newsletter, radio, you folks on the net, and a few others we have met over the years mostly though the Prophecy Club.
So today I have to bring things up as tomorrow is the 1st. My wife informs me she is pray that at least $470 comes in to pay a couple of bills, today she paid electric bills from the church and office. I do not think the internet has yet been paid at the Mission Church or here in my office.
Radio needs $305, it amazes me at how many listen to the programs but it is so hard to get air-time paid…this is for Prophecy Hour as Mission Watch is sponsored.
I am working on the mail out newsletter we are praying to get out tomorrow to gain support…($470) at the bottom I placed what I just wrote to go out on my page of the newsletter…..
We need food badly at the Mission Church, bread, eggs, butter, meat, pasta, and so one so pray for this please.
No 4th of July BBQ this year as we have to place money in the Ministry First of course……
Lift us in prayer and help f you can and have a great 4th of July!
In His Perfect Peace,
Pastor Dan Catlin

Greetings,
Today I am going to tell you a story, one that is true it is just easier for me to tell you in a story format, the story is of a young girl who claim's to 18 and came to the Wichita Mission church for help.
As the pastor walked in the back gate of the Mission Church he felt something wrong behind him, up by the fence a young girl sat looking very sad and troubled, in his eye she looked under 18 maybe 16 or so…he looked at her and said "You do not look very happy" She replied in a mournful voice that was almost a cry "I am not and I really need to talk to you!" 'Ok, soon" replied the pastor as he walked on in to open his office.
Normally most days when he first arrives it is time to go to the other side of town with the bus and pick up people waiting to come as the Mission Church is open before he arrives and the walk in are already there, so generally he waits until this is done before taking the people's requests such as: "I need a prayer as I just found out I have cancer" (yes a young lady just brought this to him) "pastor I need shoes" "do you have blankets today?" "I am in pain I need a prayer and some pain killers if you have them" "do you have cold medications?" " Got any deodorant, razors, or any hygiene items" then the ones who just want well love, like "see my new baby, this means you are a grandpa" "pastor do you want some of my chips? I have a whole bag" "when you get time I need a prayer" " Some just want a couple of words and a hug and oh yes many call the pastor dad and his wife mom.
Today he would deal with the young lady first, so he goes right back out side and brings her into the office… "so what's gong on why so sad?" First just a rush of words come out, so he calms her and they start over… "I need a bus ticket, no one (agencies) will help me with one as I have no ID, I came from California with a boyfriend but he left me in New Mexico, I need to get to my Dad and Granddad in Indiana." You see they hoped a train together something he talked her into then he jumped off in NM leaving her hanging on top of the train for dear life. She hung on an rode clear to KS before it stopped and she was able to get off...her whole side was bruised from the train jumping up and down, she is very lucky to be alive. She made it down the street to Mc Donald's and found crying outside by a fellow they comes in to eat and hang out off and on. This street he found her on could have killed her as it is full of drug pushers, pimps, human traffickers, that would have taken advantage of her. In fact as young as she was even though she said she was 18 she simply within a week would have been raped, then put into prostitution, drugs, maybe killed found in the river like some, or simply disappeared into? The pastor new of course he needed to do something the Mission Church again was the last resort. He could not put her up at the female shelter because he was still unable to find donations to open it, meaning pay the bills like, lights, gas, water, etc...So he prayed with her as she cried…he then took her picture and sent it out on the internet to his email list praying someone would see what he saw in her and they would help with a bus ticket as the pastor had no money...you see it's summer and donations just trickle in, he still placed her story and picture on the net praying….well with 24 hours about 8 people sent donations adding up to the $200 needed to get her home. She was so thankful as was her dad who called back to Wichita more than once in great thanks for getting his daughter home safe to him…
This story is juts like one of many, this is what we do we are the very last hope for so many, people that work in agencies send people to us when they know their guidelines will not let them help. No we are not always a success but we have many, many, praise reports. Messiah's Branch Mission Church exists by faith, we are not rich by any means and we have faith that people who read this newsletter and read about us on the net or hear a radio program will donate and support the work the FATHER has told us to do, we started our 15th year in June 2014. So please pray about it, some might say well" My faith is not like theirs" really read the front cover we believe that we are all saved my grace and you cannot earn your way to heaven, none are good enough to get their without Messiah! Most people who come that are ministered to are sent then to a Christian church so they get away from the other homeless and into a positive environment. So any sort of donation will help, it adds ups just like the people and the ticket for this young girl or lady in this true story. Also pray about supporting this newsletter, stamps or a donation for this also helps as it does cost to mail and print. Well I pray you all have a wonderful 4th of July, please pray for our country and it's leaders...Lift us in prayer and help if you can, In His Perfect Peace, pastor dan...MB
