Remodel group..mission update

This little group is who did the remodel…

Greetings,

Labor Day weekend…so many people to help! Like most holiday's money come in late. We are waiting on a check that generally arrives before now from a ministry that has supported us since we started in one way or another.

This check pays the electric and other Mission bills, we need it like yesterday I would guess my wife will try and get an extension but the almost $500 electric bill needs' paid like now…pray it stays on and the check hurries up and arrives!

We need food money and just in general money like, gas, bread, napkins, plates, food, etc

We also need donations for radio and to finish the remodel…..we need to get some stuff for the floor…

The Feasts, the bus, radio. a mission update

This was is the Sabbath Table at the

"WICHITA MISSION CHURCH"

Greetings

First up needs today $487 for the WMC electric ASAP ( generally we get a donation that cover this but it is not in yet)\

Various other WMC bills etc $360

Radio blogtalk radio $49! (this is the next expansion place)

Work on the WMC:

We still could use some labor help and funds for materials, need to be done before September 24^th

This is our Sabbath table at the WMC

….I just love it, you see when the candles light the beautiful Sabbath has began, time to put the world away and time to meet with the MOST HIGH!

Anyway thoughts have went this Sabbath to the coming fall Feasts and the same question arises what will we do as you are really supposed to camp or at the very least go somewhere other than your home. I will not go into the depth of this…but if you do not know of tabernacles you need to and Esperance what is Called "The Season of OUR Joy"

Generally you are to set aside funds all year to do this, but alas mostly everything we own and what comes in goes into the WMC and radio.

Mechanics' and other who celebrate this Feast give on the Feast a donation to the poor and a donation to the FATHER at whatever Feast, Synagogue, or Church they attend..

We used to have several people who made donations to us for the whole purpose of going somewhere on the Feast days of Tabernacles… We are pray that at least a couple of donations of this sort will come in early so we can plan something…

Also let us know what feast site you are going to this year please…

The Bus

Replaced timing chain

Replaced throttle position sensor

Fuel pump

Plugs & wires

Fixed

Windows

Rear heater electrical

Leaking hose to rear heater

Exhaust

Leaking hose where you put gas in

Oil Change

Shocks

Rotated Tires

Blinker switch

Still yesterday we were so disappointed when it did not run right after replacing timing chain, better but not drivable the WMC really badly need the bus back!

This bus is a huge part of our ministry…

We are going to try the fuel filter praying that it is the problem…

I lost track of how much money we spent on it when we went past $700, no I do not have $4000 to replace it so please pray for it!

We need all the normal; winter donations, hats, gloves, Bibles, Over the counter medications. Sleeping bags, blankets…etc

Bus finished, well almost.....all lists

Greetings,

Days and hours was spent going over the bus, in fact others we called in to help put shocks on, rotate tires, and come up with idea's for find the elusive short that stopped the blinkers and flasher's from working all this with no compensation for workers who spent many hours upon hours to find the problems.

(It would be nice to do at least a cookout for these people but we have no funds to do so)

Finally yesterday I called over to my son who had given up the most to work on the bus putting projects that paid the bills aside to get the bus done to no avail, weeks if you will, I told him put the battery back in I want to try something. I arrived and he said the battery was indeed in, so I went to try something with the flasher I unplugged the flasher plugged it back and was waiting on my son to bring me a piece of bare wire…I turn on the key and felt the flasher it felt like it was clicking…I went to the back and found the blinker's working…

Well that brought on a bunch of jokes about how I just touched it and wow it all worked yuk yuk….but what must have happened was my son took the battery out to charge it after doing so he went around and in his words tightened a buck of wires etc….it really must have been a ground wire at least we pray so…..

What's left we have had people called over and over to get the normal rides to the Mission Church so we take it bake right? Well it does still need the oil changed still, seems silly not to do that after everything else. We also need money to fill it up as it is completely out of gas….

We fixed:

Windows (only one went up or down)

Exhaust leak

Heater Fan

Spark Plugs

Wires and cap

Various shorts

Blinkers

Tires rotated

Shocks

Many various loose or almost falling off things the bus is or was worn out

I am sure this list is bigger but I would have to site my son down to find out as he spent weeks on it even not working on other projects to bring in funds for his family…he has 4 children.

Si what I need is, money for an oil change and lube, $30, money to fill it up for the trip back to Wichita $90, and I would like to be able to at least give my son $100 for all his efforts no he has not asked for anything.

It I would have paid a shop to do this I would be looking at a bill over a few thousand for labor…

It also would be nice to cook some simple hamburgers out for all the other people who jumped in an helped….I would need to buy about 30 pounds of burger to do this and buns…no they did not ask for anything…

But we cannot get the bus to Wichita without gas and I would like to get the oil changed and lubed….
