Brr cold, and Thanksgiving is coming

The Bus also needs badly a throttle cable fixed as I have to put the bus in neutral when I stop to keep it from dying, other times I have to shut it off as soon as I stop because it revs way up…I am unsure of the cost of the cable.   We need people now to step forward and say they are going to help sponsor Thanksgiving the biggest day and night of the year for us. Really go have a look and see what we are talking about!   To pull off thanksgiving we need about 15 plus turkeys, if you live in Wichita you can call me and say “heh Pastor Dan I will cook a couple or bring couple and drop them off!” 316-619-48886   Yes we will need all the trimmings so that means vegetables, potatoes, pies, cakes, you know what YOU have for Thanksgiving!   Generally it take us for food and everything about $1,400 but this comes from more than one person generally who say they want to sponsor Thanksgiving, a couple of times just a person or small group has did this.   Yes it’s a couple of weeks away but my wife has to put it together and sooner she can count on things the better.   This year will be real tough as our walk in cooler is down, you see we serve the left over’s as a meal on Friday so we have to be able and put things up.   One way or another  by Faith we will HAVE  Thanksgiving our 14th with the poor.   We need to be able and mail the monthly newsletter out at a cost of $476 I think it is now. Why should a person help with that?   Because it is one of the ways we have to get support. It is late already so if it does not go out on Friday we can expect little support this month which means shuts off etc and it is a very tough time for us due to people spending for holidays…   A few things…   If you want to make donation for Thanksgiving you can do it with the link button below but let me know it’s for Thanksgiving.   You can mail a check or money order, but again make sure you note what it is for and send me an email so I can tell my wife it’s coming.   DO NOT take donation you normally support us with and say it’s for Thanksgiving because if everyone does that the lights will not be on at the Mission Church so to speak.   We need your help now today…if you think your donation does not count then read this….   There is an old story of a couple about to be married. They lived in a small village and had invited everyone from the village to their wedding. Each guest was asked to bring a jug of wine for the celebration. Each jug of wine would be poured into a giant vat to be shared by everyone.
